Joely is currently working on her Private Pilot License through Flight Expo's Flying Club. She was excited to return from her most recent lesson with our flight instructor, Justine Williamson (pictured below) and find out that she had been chosen by Flight Expo's Board to receive the $500 scholarship!

This scholarship aims to support individuals who are pursuing a degree or certification in aircraft maintenance or are working towards a pilot license. Aviation Employees are in high demand. It is predicted that by 2042 the world will need 602,000 pilots, 610,000 maintenance technicians, and 899,000 cabin crew members. To apply for the scholarship, submit a Personal Statement to flightexpoinc@aol.com by April 26, 2024. Use the application below to complete and submit.
Personal Statement
Statements should be 100-250 words. The following items should be addressed:
1) Career Aspirations – Why are you interested in pursuing aircraft maintenance/pilot?
2) Why should you receive the scholarship?
3) Who has been a role model for you? Why?
4) What are your 3 greatest strengths and weaknesses?
5) Tell us about your passion for aviation.
Requirements:
10 hours of volunteer time for Flight Expo within 60 days of receiving the scholarship.
